PORT ANGELES PERFORMING ARTS CENTER
PORT ANGELES, WA
November 8, 2014
Anthony Kearns is truly a delight for the senses. His voice is maturing each time I am able to attend one of his concerts. This was my second Port Angeles concert fortunately with my good friend, Fay Loux, but alas without the high school orchestra, but with Paddy, who definitely has charmed his way into my heart, we were in for a treat. There were several pieces of music I had not heard previously, but enjoyed immensely. When one attends Anthony’s concerts, you just want it to never end and he always surprises us with his choices of music. That was this performance for sure. I was very happy to see that it was well attended and the murmurs throughout the audience were ones of awe and wonder, along with all the smiles and humming.

It was a rather chilly night in Port Angeles, but the warmth of everyone heated up the “concert hall”. Anthony was rather funnier this time than previously, so I could only imagine it was due to being so familiar with his “friends” of 12 previous performances. There was a tiny meet and greet about 15 minutes after the encore, and I was blessed with a kiss on the cheek from Paddy. He is such a charmer and I will look forward to seeing both Anthony and Paddy at the next concert. I am so thankful to be a “friend”.
