Last Sunday afternoon Bill and I attended a most wonderful concert at Munster
High School. We chose to drive in on Saturday as IN is more in our neck of the
woods and although it was -8C the roads were clear most of the way. Anthony did
not have such luck as he was trying to come from Baltimore to Midway airport
and Midway was closed. but get there he did. Patrick was not able to come and once
again John Laird stepped in. Vincent was also there.
. The song selections were the same as at Severna Park and Anthony was in great voice.
The Meeting of the Waters
Down by the Sally Gardens
Kitty Me Love
Red Is the Rose
Trottin to the Fair
Jon Laird played Robert Schumann's Romance
So Deep Is the Night
Isle of Hope
How Are Things In Gloccamorra
Empty Chairs, Empty Tables
Bird Songs at Eventide
Love Thee Dearest
John Laird played Alberto Ginostera's from The Argentine Dances
La Vie en Rose
She moved through the Fair
O Sole Mio
The concert was very well attended and the audience was a mostly older crowd who really
enjoyed his singing, joining in with la la la parts . Anthony reminded the us that
Munster is one of the four counties of Ireland. There was no meet and greet but Anthony
did sign autographs and CD`s.
We left feeling nice and relaxed after a very pleasant Sunday afternoon.
